30 Theme Days to Implement at Home During Quarantine
If you are anything like me, you are starting to go a bit crazy during quarantine! Trying to balance homeschool, jobs, emotions, dinner, housework and everything else is a lot! Oh and don’t forget about self-care, right…. Ahhh…
This week I decided we needed to put some fun back into our lives and I came up with 30 theme days to implement at home during quarantine! Most of these should be easy to implement and will bring back something for the family to get excited about each day!
Remember, don’t make this overwhelming for yourself. Let the kiddos run with it and get excited. Try not to put too many rules or expectations around the days. Just make it fun and bring a little bit of excitement to your day!! Post your pictures and comments below!
1. Obstacle Course Day

2. Board Game Day
Get out the old board games or order some new ones. Let the kids play together or play with them! Check out this STEM Family Battle to have some family fun!

3. Movie Day
Pick out some favorite movies or movies that you have never seen before! Give each child a choice of movie! If you have little ones, I am sure that Frozen II is at the top of their list! You can also purchase the movie as well from Amazon.

4. Christmas

5. Beach Day
Get your swimsuit on, grab a towel and pretend you are at the beach. Kids will love to imagine this fun treat! Get some beach tents or sand buckets and make pretend sand castles. You may not really be there, but it will be fun to imagine!

6. Music Day
Pick out some favorite music and dedicate some time to listen and maybe throw a dance party! Get unlimited access to millions of songs when you have Amazon Prime.

7. STEM Day

8. Wii Day
Spend some time playing your favorite Wii games! If you don’t have a Wii, I would highly recommend getting one. It is fun for kids of all ages, including adults!

9. Paint Your Face Day
If you don’t have any face paint on hand, order some! This is a great way to be expressive and let the kids get creative! If they are old enough, let them paint each other’s faces or their own!.

10. Lego Day

11. Gardening Day
Spend some time making the beautiful garden that you have always wanted! The kids will love watching their hard work grow into something amazing! Unless you’re like me and don’t really have a green thumb. Then maybe you can make a rock garden.

12. Kindness Day
Spend time spreading kindness to others. Write letters to local retirement homes, make drawings for local retirement homes or friends or family. Pick up trash in the community. Read books to your siblings.

Make gifts for your family members and friends! Some ideas could be a bouquet of flowers, homemade picture frames, beaded bracelets or bookmarks.
